Incarnations
The Supreme God occassionally appears on the earth sporting a particular form. This is known as the Incarnation of the Supreme God. It can be compared to a lamp ignited by another lamp. The difference being that, after the ignition, the two lamps are two different entities. But, the incarnations of the Supreme God are non-different. There is absolutely no difference whatsover between the original form and the incarnation. The vedic literature declares that one should not see any difference between the forms of the Supreme God. It is with His infinite un-fathomable power, He assumes several forms, which are all one and the same in terms of the essence, qualities, power etc.
