anvayaH:

suvatsalau viyogatAntau pitarau sutaM yatIndrAnucaraM virAgiNaM sannyAsanibaddhamAnasam rUpyatalAlayasthitaM nishamya samIyatuH ..

anvayArthaH:

suvatsalau = loving; viyogatAntau = agonized by the sorrow of separation; pitarau = parents; sutaM = son; yatIndrAnucaraM = disciple of the great saint; virAgiNaM =detached; sannyAsanibaddhamAnasam = firm in his desire to become an ascetic; rUpyatalAlayasthitaM = staying in rupyapithapura; nishamya = having heard; samIyatuH = approached.

Summary:

The loving parents of detached vAsudeva, agonized by the sorrow of his separation, approached him (with a bid to revert him from taking up sanyasa), having heard that he has become the disciple of the great saint Achyutaprexa with a firm desire to become an ascetic.
