dvijakumArapadaM garuDatuNDaM iva pratipannavAn saH mamAra ca sumanasaH mahatAM samucitaM caritaM = of the noble idaM = this = celestials manasA = heartily iShTaM = liked apUjayan = worshipped.
anvayArthaH:
dvijakumArapadaM = The foot of the child vAsudeva; garuDatuNDaM = the beak of an eagle; iva = like; pratipannavAn = felt; saH = that snake-demon; mamAra = died; ca = and; samucitaM = appropriate; caritaM = act; mahatAM = of the noble; idaM = this; sumanasaH = celestials; manasA = heartily; iShTaM = dear to; apUjayan = worshipped.
Summary:
That snake-demon found the foot of the child vAsudeva to be the beak of the celestial eagle (garuDa) and died (after being crushed under his foot). The celestials heartily worshiped vAsudeva for performing this appropriate act which is very dear to the noble.
