when we do pooja to a vishnu bhakta brahmin who had applied gopichandan chakrai naama mudras on his body we will have a fortune of being nearer to the all-mighty sri naarayana.

when we bow to a vishnu bhakta brahmin who had applied gopichandana chakraadi naama mudras, while bowing to his feet the number of dust particles which touch our for head such many years we will be residing in brahma lokam.

choice of brahmin in shraaddham?

A) For pitru kaaryams any gotram brahmin can be called but the first choice is a brahmin of other gotram, if in case other gotram brahmin is not available  and in a compulsory situation our gotram brahmin can also be called but compulsorily we should apply gopichandanam and chakraadi mudras on our body.

As calling our own gotram brahmin should be avoided but in unavoidable situation applying gopichandana and chakraadi mudras we will be saved from greater sins.
